About Us

       Carla Ruppert started her business in 1997. It evolved from scrap booking supplies and tie dyed children’s clothing to a vast selection of upscale and yet affordable clothing and toys.

      This Mother of three, enjoys all aspects of being a shopkeeper. Teaching her children about all the aspects of being an entrepreneur has been one of the best parts of having a store. “The children have really grown up in the store. Some days we spend more time at the store than we do at home.”

The kids help a lot in picking out inventory, helping customers, and ringing up sales. “I often joke that my son can ring up sales faster and more efficiently than I can.” They make great toy testers as well. After a toy has been played with by all the kids, I instantly know if we should order more, never order again, or call the company about the quality. I try to take the same approach with apparel for the store. As a mom of three and Aunt to nine, I strive for a very unique and special selection for your bambino.

        2016 marks the second location opening in St. Joseph, Michigan. With two locations to serve you we hope you can find what your heart desires for your little ones.

        2023 brought about great excitement, as Carla became a Grandma to Parker and Lincoln. Buying for the store has never been more FUN!
